Uniwersytet Europejski Viadrina zaprasza na Letnią Szkołę „Europejski System Ochrony Praw Człowieka – Rada Europy, UE, OBWE” (Summer School 2026: The European System of Human Rights Protection – Council of Europe, EU, OSCE)

The Europa-Universität Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder), Germany, conducts the 27nd Summer School „The European system of human rights protection – Council of Europe, EU, OSCE”, 6 – 17 July 2026, at the Faculty of Law.

This Summer School, held in English, will deal in detail specifically with the European system of human rights protection. Although there are numerous summer schools and other special study programs within Europe on human rights protection, this school provides an integrated treatment of the various European systems and of specifically European issues of human rights protection.

The lecturers come from various European partner Universities, such as the Universities of Wales Aberystwyth, Leeds, Durham and Milton Keynes (United Kingdom), Graz (Austria), Barcelona (Spain), Poznan (Poland), Prague (Czech Republic), Ljubljana (Slovenia). A judge of the European Court of Human Rights will talk about the individual complaint procedure and selected cases.

10 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) Points will be awarded to participants of the Summer School.

The total fee for the program is 590 EURO.
