Dear Colleagues,

The International Cooperative Research Group (ICRG from Washington, USA), research and learning arm of the U.S. Overseas Cooperative Development Council (OCDC), invites you to join our upcoming session that will focus on cooperatives that work in rural environments. This session, to be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, from 9:00-10:00 am ET (03:00PM – 04;OO PM  Brussels or Warsaw  time), will be co-hosted by the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) International, University of Adam Mickiewicz (UAM) of Poznan, Poland (Prof. AMU dr hab. Aneta Suchoń; mgr Tomasz Marzec) , and Researcher from Ukraine (Dr Andrij Biloczenko, Kyiv).

We will explore diverse examples of rural circumstances in Poland, Ukraine, and Zambia (Franck Bergh, Doreen Chipika Bwalya, NRECA International) , focusing on how cooperatives adapt and innovate to fill market gaps and enable rural communities to meet their own needs through aggregating of their resources.
