Marek Szewczyk prepared over 200 legal expert opinions,
from October 2012 to January 2016, he was a member of the Building Law Codification Committee established by the Council of Ministers,
in the years 2012-2016 he was a permanent expert of the Team for the preparation of the concept of the amendment to the Administrative Procedure Code appointed by the President of the Supreme Administrative Court,
sits on the Scientific Council of the CASUS journal,
supervisor of 9 completed doctoral dissertations, author of reviews in 14 doctoral dissertations, 4 habilitation proceedings, 1 review in the procedure for awarding the title of professor, in addition, he promoted at least 300 masters in law and in administration,
in 2005 he was awarded an honorary badge for services to the Wielkopolska Province, in 2013 he was awarded a medal for many years of service, in 2014 he was awarded the Silver Cross of Merit.

He prepared legal opinions for 30 years: for the Minister of Infrastructure, the Minister of Sport and Tourism, the Minister of Construction, the Minister of the Treasury, the Minister of Administration and Digitization, the Financial Supervision Authority, the Sejm, the Senate, the President of the Republic of Poland, the Association of Polish Cities, the Union of Rural Communes of the Republic of Poland – about 500 expert opinions
